These flowers are in the park in Kowloon, not far from the swimming pool and the flamingos.

Ferry to Kowloon from Hong Kong Island

Taking the ferry either way, between Hong Kong Island and Kowloon, is a cheap fun trip. Upper or lower deck (different prices, and the upper deck at least has an air-conditioned section) are both good. This photo is from the lower deck…

In Kowloon you can find Harbour City… here it has a display perhaps related to upcoming Halloween:

Breakfast in Hong Kong – Central Station

There is a photo of a rice cake to go along with this post, but uploading is a problem at the moment. The rice cake was filled with veggies and some sort of health powder… tasty mix, and likely better than the usual breakfast-of-travelers morning meal.

Hong Kong’s “The Peak”

The photo below was taken Tuesday at “The Peak” – which you can drive to the top of, or take a 100-year-old concept of a cable-car tram. I took a taxi up, ate at a nice restaurant with a view, and then trammed down.

Eating on The Peak

This photo was taken at a Japanese Restaurant overlooking downtown Hong Kong. The food was delicious and the view even better.
